Adult Literacy is a service that provides literacy, numeracy and computer education for adults who wish to develop their skills in reading, writing, spelling, maths and using everyday technology.
It is aimed at those who left school early, are out of education for a long time or have specific learning difficulties. Learning is tailored to the needs of each learner in a supportive and friendly environment.
We offer courses in reading, writing, spelling, everyday maths, budgeting, English language support, cookery, art and craft, computer skills, gardening skills, personal development, driver theory preparation and more.
Our FET Guidance and Information Service offers information, advice and guidance on training, education and careers for adults who are interested in returning to education. We can offer this service before, during or after the course.
